What is Marvel Villainous?

Marvel Villainous is a strategic tabletop game where you take the role of an iconic Marvel Villain. Your goal is to fulfill the evil scheme your Villain was trying to accomplish in the movie or comic they are from - whoever does this first, wins!

Game Overview

Each player takes the role of a different Marvel Villain. Each Villain has a different Objective they are trying to achieve. Each turn, players move their Villain Mover to a location on their board and perform actions that are available there. As soon as a player has fulfilled their Villain's Objective, the game ends and that player wins.

Tokens

+1 Token

Strength Tokens

Strength tokens are used to denote an increase or decrease to a character's Strength.
Strength Tokens.
Certain cards with cause a player to place either (a) +1 Strength token(s) or -1 Strength token(s) onto a character. These tokens will be taken from the Vault, and placed on the appropriate character's card.

When determining a character's total Strength, you must include all Strength tokens that have been placed on that character. When a character is removed, defeated, or otherwise discarded, the Strength tokens are returned to the Vault.

Power Tokens

Power Token.
Power tokens are used as a type of currency for paying the cost of various cards.

They may also be used in future expansions/stand-alones as a potential method of tracking turns and other values.

Various cards will instruct you to lose or gain Power, resulting in the player returning or taking the listed number of tokens to or from the Vault.

The Gain Power actions in each Villain's Domains will also allow you to gain an amount of Power equal to the listed value.
